Your child can join!
If either or both of the parents are prepared to give regular and committed time to help run the Scout troop in a uniformed role and you and your childs English is good enough, your child can still join!
A uniformed role will mean committing to some high quality training and weekly meetings, supporting our volunteer team!

Your child must be able to follow instructions given in English in an emergency.
In 1920, at the first World Scout Conference, the individual national Scout Associations (such as the Spanish ASDE & MSC), agreed that "visiting nations" would not take host national children and affect their local recruitment.
The only exceptions to this are when the parents are prepared to take an active part in helping run the 'visiting' Group or the child was a part of British Scouting previously while in the UK as an 'expat' there and wishes to continue with the UK Scout program.
That agreement is still in place and has to be respected according to British Scouting Overseas agreements with the Spanish Scouting organisations.
Links to local Spanish Scout Associations can be found on our "Spanish Scouting" page below
Did you know there is an active and very popular Spanish ASDE Group right here in Majadahonda?
